The 57th meeting of the Society for Natural Philosophy took place on October 16, 17, and 18, 2023, at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and was organized by the Laboratoire Géométrie Structure Architecture. The conference was dedicated to the memory of Gianfranco Capriz and Maurizio Brocato. The focus of this meeting was: “Complex Material Structures, Natural and Architected.”
The presentation titled: “Synergistic Interplay Between Mechanics and Chemistry in Architected Molecular Motors Assemblies” offered a synthesis of the major works surrounding the physiology of muscle contraction. It particularly emphasized the formulation of mechano-chemical coupling in the operation of molecular motors.”
